an excellent high-mountain boot

Comfort & Fit
A well-padded broad-fitting boot that felt great from the box. Careful lacing provided comfy downhill performance with no toe banging, while a high ankle cuff ensured plenty of security on steeper slopes.
Performance 17/20
The heaviest, but still great to walk in and supportive. The business without a crampon, especially if you have broader feet, but the fabric/suede upper means that crampon straps need careful adjustment to be comfy.
Verdict 17/20
brasher’s first foray above the snowline has produced an excellent high-mountain boot that performs well with or without crampons. Superb value for money too.
